Composed of professional and renowned musicians Little Steve on guitar, Theo Thumper on drums and Anne-Maarten "Hills" van Heuvelen on bass, the Hills Blues Collective recorded 11 tunes as just basic rhythm tracks. This CD is the instrumentalist’s dream come true! We call it the “Play Along Sessions,” because it provides the opportunity for all you guitar, keyboard, harp and horn players and vocalists - or whatever your instrument is – to have your very own back up band to practice with.
The CD contains a variety of styles and grooves from upbeat to slow including shuffles, swing, rock and rumba. You will hone your chops to different key signatures, as well, since this CD covers various keys, both major and minor. The Play Along Sessions CD is available from March 25th 2007. Since this is the first in an exciting new line of Play Along CD’s, stayed tuned for news and details.
Speciaal gecomponeerd door gitarist Little Steve, drummer Theo Thumper en bassist Anne-Maarten "Hills" van Heuvelen heeft the Hills Blues Collective 11 basisritme tracks opgenomen welke op de CD "Play Along Sessions" is uitgebracht. Deze CD is speciaal gemaakt voor mensen die een instrument bespelen zoals; mondharmonica, gitaar, toetsen, zang en een blaas instrument. Alle tracks bevatten alleen een basisbegeleiding bestaande uit drums, bas en ritmegitaar.
De cd bevat verscheidene grooves van up-tempo tot een slow blues inclusief shuffles, swing, rock en rumba. Door het meespelen en oefenen met de cd kun je ontwikkeling als musicus polijsten en verder ontwikkelen. De Play Along Sessions CD is vanaf 25 maart 2007 verkrijgbaar. As shown on the main page of this website, the Hills Blues Collective recorded the Play Along Session CD. In October 2008 the PAS team and Adam Gussow started working together to sell the CD on-line! From now on you are able to download the CD together with an instruction video from Adam. To order this CD please click the Order CD link to your left where you are able to choose a download version or a hard copy of the CD! We will respond with the details which are required to get this CD in your player, so that you can enjoy your very own Play Along Session!
Zoals vermeld op de hoofdpagina van deze website, heeft the Hills Blues Collective de CD Play Along Sessions opgenomen. In oktober 2008 is het PAS team een samenwerkingsverband aangegaan met Adam Gussow. Vanaf nu is het mogelijk om de CD samen met een video instructie van Adam te downloaden. Om deze CD te bestellen klik je op de Order CD link. Daar kan je kiezen wat je wilt aanschaffen. Adam Gussow, who teaches blues music, literature, and culture at the University of Mississippi, is a noted blues harmonica player and instructor. A member of the Harlem blues duo Satan and Adam for more than twenty years, he has taught thousands of harmonica players how to raise their game and achieve their dreams.
